Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz package Beer Battered Shrimp
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Splash of vinegar
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 pieces of flatbread, heated in a hot, dry pan
  • 2 tomatoes cut into thin wedges
  • 1/2 onion, very thinly sliced
  • 2 cups prepared frozen or fresh French fries (optional)
  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional)

Directions

Prepare Beer Battered Shrimp according to package directions. Remove tails and keep warm.

In a small bowl, stir together the yogurt, cucumber, garlic, olive oil and vinegar.

Salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

To assemble: Spread a warm piece of flatbread with yogurt sauce.

Top with tomato wedges, onion, shrimp and French fries.

Garnish with fresh dill sprigs if desired. Fold over (like a gyro). Repeat process with remaining flatbread. Serve warm.
