Do you love a classic BLT? Crispy bacon, bright fresh lettuce, and a slice of juicy red tomato on a toasty bun just might be a perfect sandwich. Is it possible to improve on perfection? Before you answer, give this BLT sliders recipe a taste test.
Our BLT sliders recipe starts with the essential ingredients. First, there’s bacon cooked to delicious crispiness. Then there’s a fresh Roma tomato, which packs a mighty Vitamin-C punch. Romas have fewer seeds and less moisture than other tomato varieties, making them a meatier and more substantial option. Arugula in place of other lettuce adds an unexpected peppery bite, and mixing in a bit of chopped fresh basil with the mayo adds subtle flavor.
But the real star of this recipe is our Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp. Premium crispy shrimp add the perfect crunch to these BLT sliders. Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp are lightly breaded, so they don’t overwhelm the sandwich or make it feel too heavy.
Serve these sliders with sweet potato fries, slaw, or as an easy appetizer.
