Recipe Description
Creamy, cheesy grits baked until fluffy and topped with bold SeaPak Cajun Shrimp make this Southern-inspired dish pure comfort with a kick.
Ingredients
- SeaPak Cajun Shrimp
- 2 cups Slow Cook Grits cooked to directions on packaging
- 2 eggs
- 1 stick of butter
- 8 ounces whole milk or half and half
- 2 cups shredded cheddar
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- Salt, tabasco, cayenne: all to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (Fahrenheit).
- Grease a soufflé dish or an oblong 8x10 pan.
- Make grits according to box.
- Beat eggs in measuring cup and and add enough cream on top to equal one cup.
- Add all other ingredients to the grits and stir until it all melts. Pour into pan and bake one hour, test for jiggles.
- Take out and top with Cajun Shrimp that has been prepared according to directions on the packaging.
- Mix Cajun Shrimp and sauce into the grits and serve into a bowl.
