Recipe Description

Creamy, cheesy grits baked until fluffy and topped with bold SeaPak Cajun Shrimp make this Southern-inspired dish pure comfort with a kick.

Ingredients

  • SeaPak Cajun Shrimp
  • 2 cups Slow Cook Grits cooked to directions on packaging
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 8 ounces whole milk or half and half
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • Salt, tabasco, cayenne: all to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (Fahrenheit).
  2. Grease a soufflé dish or an oblong 8x10 pan.
  3. Make grits according to box.
  4. Beat eggs in measuring cup and and add enough cream on top to equal one cup.
  5. Add all other ingredients to the grits and stir until it all melts. Pour into pan and bake one hour, test for jiggles.
  6. Take out and top with Cajun Shrimp that has been prepared according to directions on the packaging.
  7. Mix Cajun Shrimp and sauce into the grits and serve into a bowl.
  8. Enjoy!
